The 2016 Madison Chapter event is nearly here! We are so thrilled to pull the final pieces together to make this event a success! A special thanks to all our sponsors and donors for supporting our cause, and to the volunteers who make this magical weekend happen.
We are still in need of filling some shoes, especially Fish Cleaners! Do you know how to gut and scale a fish? Sign up on the volunteer page and bring your own fillet knife (and a friend!) – we would be so grateful for your help!
Have a boat? What isn’t there to love about bringing the world of fishing to people with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to bask on the lakes we so dearly love? Fill out a boat form and join us on July 9 & 10th!
If you’re looking for your 2015 event photos, you can find them in the Gallery. 2016 event photos will be posted within 1 week after the event. Don’t forget you can send us your photos on the boat and we’ll upload them here too!
Fish With Us
What can compare with a weekend of fishing with a good group of friends… relaxation, a tall tale or two, and if they’re biting… a full stringer at the end of the day!
Join us this year : July 9 & 10, 2016
At Governor Nelson State Park
A National Organization
Fishing Has No Boundaries®, Inc. (FHNB) is a non-profit 501-C3 organization whose goal is to open up the great outdoors for people with disabilities through the world of fishing. FHNB has grown into a National Organization with 27 chapters in 13 states, enabling thousands of individuals with disabilities to participate fully in this spirit lifting, morale booster, trouble free recreational activity. Continue to look for additional announcements for new chapters in new states, opening up new dreams for persons with disabilities that might not otherwise experience what you or I might just take for granted.
The Madison Chapter
Fishing Has No Boundaries, Madison Chapter works towards the same National goals in our little corner of Wisconsin. The event provides two days of fun on the water, experienced guides, boats and bait, adaptive fishing gear, fish cleaning, food and beverages, and memorabilia hats and shirts!
Fishing with us takes place at Governor Nelson State Park on the North shore of Lake Mendota. Limited participant space is available each year, so sign up and mark your calendars for the 2016 date! This event is supported by over 300 volunteers and sponsors. Click here to get involved.
