Event Information

July 13 & 14, 2019

The event takes place on the 2nd weekend in July, each year.

Pre-Registration is required.
Please remember to bring:

  • Remember to drink plenty of fluids the day before and during events
  • Rain gear / clothing appropriate for the weather
  • Sun protection and light-colored clothing
  • Any medications
  • Boat Owners:
    • U.S. coast guard / DNR approved Life Jacket
    • A cell phone, if you have one

Alcoholic beverages and unlawful chemical substances are NOT permitted at any time during this event.

SATURDAY

7:00 AM    VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION BEGINS
7:45 AM    BOAT OWNERS & FISHING ASSISTANTS ORIENTATION – MAIN TENT
8:00 AM    PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION BEGINS
9:00 AM    BOAT LOADING BEGINS
4:00 PM    ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE ON SHORE
3:30 PM    ENTERTAINMENT – SOCIAL HOUR
4:00 PM    YAHARA FISH CLUB FISH FRY

SUNDAY

7:30 AM PARTICIPANT AND VOLUNTEER CHECK- IN
8:00 AM BOAT LOADING BEGINS
12 NOON ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE ON SHORE
12:30 PM LUNCH FOLLOWED BY THE AWARDS CEREMONY

Inclement Weather Policy:

As we all know, the weather forecast in Madison changes from one minute to the next. Often, there may be rumor of rain leading up to the event. That never scares us away! In 24 years we have only had to delay the event once!

If there is thunder and lightening, the event will be canceled.
If we have rain we will delay the event by one hour and continue the day’s festivities.
