Madison Chapter of Fishing Has No Boundaries®, Inc. is seeking to fill numerous volunteer openings on the board. Experience not necessary.
As we look to the future, we also recognize the importance of cultivating future leaders. One of the FHNB Board’s primary goals this year is to mentor potential board members who can continue the legacy of FHNB, Madison Chapter.
About The Organization
Fishing Has No Boundaries®, Inc. (FHNB) is a non-profit 501-C3 organization whose goal is to open up the great outdoors for people with disabilities through the world of fishing. FHNB has grown into a National Organization with 27 chapters in 13 states, enabling thousands of individuals with disabilities to participate fully in this spirit lifting, morale booster, trouble free recreational activity.
Board Member Responsibilities
The primary role of the Volunteer Board is to support the planning and operations of our events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for all participants and volunteers. Board members play a crucial role in managing the different operational areas during the event, including overseeing volunteer and participant registration, coordinating boaters, managing the grounds, and providing support wherever necessary.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to bring their experience and enthusiasm to help us continue to make FHNB’s event a rewarding and impactful experience for everyone involved. If you are interested in exploring this opportunity, we would love to discuss how you can contribute to our team.
